I’ve continued looking into leveraging and creating my own AI agents, and got a lot of value from listening to interviews (here and here) with Dhamesh from Hubspot talking about Agent AI.

The three businesses I have (Fractional CMO, Letter Operators, Why Not Bot) are all about leveraging AI to dramatically reduce the cost of human capital (in this case marketers, newsletter operators, bid-writers) whilst improving the outputs. By combining LLMs with 3rd party tools you can create agents that will do 90% of the work for you that just require human oversight.

Soon chief marketing officers will be responsible for hybrid teams made up of more AI agents than humans (lead story last issue). And C suites themselves may not even need to be full-time, hence why I’m leaning into my fractional offering. Rather than adding chief AI officers, AI agents will be incorporated into every function of companies, from marketing, to sales to product.

And AI agents will be bought on marketplaces such as Flippa who already has an AI App & Tool Types category.

As we learned in business school, the Rule of Seven states that a prospect needs to interact with a brand at least seven times before they’re likely to take action or make a purchase.
