šŸ§  My AI Content Humanizer Test (Exclusive)

I test 6 AI Humanizers vs 9 AI Detectors, Flippa deals are back, plus the week's news

Hey there šŸ‘‹,

This email is a long one so you may want to click the web version and use these table of content links!

In this issue...

šŸ“ Pateyā€™s Update

Iā€™ve been generating a lot of content in Cuppa.ai over the last few weeks for a Fractional CMO client. The amount of output it generates for the cost is unbeatable, but it doesnā€™t have an in-built content humanizer (unlike BrandWell). As a result, the GPT-4o-generated content almost always gets flagged by AI detectors and may struggle in Google (outside of parasite SEO where it flourishes!).

Therefore you need to use a separate AI humanizer tool and I wanted to find out which was the best at bypassing detectors without turning the content into unreadable gibberish (which is the case for at least one of these).

The Contenders

I ran each humanizer through each detector below and recorded the scores, i.e. 15% AI generated:

  • AI Humanisers: Writesonic, Surfer SEO, Undetectable, StealthGPT, Writehuman, TurnItHuman

  • AI Detectors: Originality, Copyleaks, GPTZero, Quillbot, Grammarly, Winston, Smodin, ZeroGPT, Surfer SEO

I then asked ChatGPT to analyze the detection scores as well as the quality of the humanized output to come up with an overall score.

The Results

The analysis below is generated by ChatGPT; Iā€™ve simply copied and pasted it here.

  1. Top Humaniser:

    • Surfer SEO wins as the best overall humanizer, combining high-quality outputs with exceptional detection evasion.

    • Writesonic and StealthGPT perform well in detection evasion but require more editing for professional quality.

  2. Strictest Detector:

    • Winston flagged even well-humanised content with high detection scores.

    • Originality AI was consistent but slightly more forgiving.

  3. Overall Humaniser Rankings:

    • 1st Place: Surfer SEO ā€“ Polished, professional, and effective.

    • 2nd Place: StealthGPT ā€“ High-quality but inconsistent detection evasion.

    • 3rd Place: Writesonic ā€“ Great for detection evasion but informal tone.

    • Last Place: TurnItHuman ā€“ While it evades detection well, its output quality is poor, requiring heavy rewriting.

Below is a bar chart comparing quality, detection evasion, and overall scores which shows Surfer SEO leads in all areas:

I had no horse in this race that would sway me - whoever won, according to ChatGPT, was who I would promote with an affiliate link!

In partnership with Flippa

Below are my thoughts on five listings, some of which were Confidential and/or First Access which I unlocked using my Flippa Premium membership. You can get 3 months of access for free using this link and bypass NDA approval.

šŸ›’ Ecommerce: UK-based personalized sports gifts Shopify store. DR28 domain ranking for 1600 keywords bringing in 5K/m traffic and decent brand traffic according to Ahrefs. The listing states the business has proven Meta ads campaigns which I assume is generating the majority of revenue. I like the products and how they are printed on demand by an exclusive UK manufacturer. Plus the owner has built a proprietary custom product builder in Shopify. Business is making Ā£46K/m profit, list price Ā£305K - Listing URL

šŸ“ŗ Social: Monetized YouTube channel in the cleanup niche that Iā€™m actually subscribed to (itā€™s soothing). Over 800 monetized videos generating $10K/m in profit with a 3.5x revenue multiple puts this at a $500K asking price. Itā€™s a relatively high multiple but this is a new asset class, with this one effectively yielding 24% passive income a year - Listing URL

šŸ›’ Ecommerce: US-based functional chewing gum (to give an energy boost) FBA store, making $10K/m profit with a $435K asking price. The business used to be on Shopify fuelled by social media advertising, before the move to Amazon where search volumes are rising - potential to reactivate the website. Comes with large Tiktok account - Listing URL

šŸŒ Content Site: 3-year-old site in the astrology niche could benefit from better design and page speed. But then Ahrefs shows it as having almost no domain authority and no traffic, although it does ranks for 200 keywords. This is because traffic is from solo ads (email) and Facebook lead ads, so its not reliant in any way on Big G. Averaging $8K/m profit, $225K asking price - Listing URL

šŸŒ Content Site: 7-year-old affiliate site with 400+ pages in the cannabis niche. Itā€™s in the DR30s with some decent links (which is harder to do in canna) and ranking for over 1000 keywords. Monetized through Amazon affiliate and private aff networks. Averaging $1700/m profit, $47,500 asking price for a 2.3x profit multiple - Listing URL
