🔒Flippa Deals Unlocked + GMV Update

📊 Marketplace GMV
My first marketplace GMV update in the last issue got a lot of feedback on linkedin. Thomas from FE International stated that:
we don't publish or mention asking prices for the majority of businesses in 2024, so this is drastically under for FE. We have one listing alone with valuation above $200M
So unfortunately I can’t include them in the pie chart going forward. Also Manuel the COO of Boopos mentioned that:
We are restricting the access to the marketplace to existing users as we transition to larger deals that are handled by our M&A team individually and without publicity.
And right now there is no data for Boopos showing in Ross Gerson’s Acquiring Digital platform which I use to come up with the numbers below.
Instead, I’m now tracking Website Closers, and Latona’s. With Flippa, Ross’ platform is showing $835M in total volume listed, but that doesn’t include the first access deals of which there are currently 98 with a combined value of $16.2M, making $851M total.

🤝 Flippa New 7 Figure Deals Unlocked
There have been four new 7-figure deals on Flippa this week, which I was able to unlock with my Flippa Premium membership - get 3 months for free using this link and bypass NDA approval.
There was also one 8 figure deal, an agritech for $12.7M, but that’s above my pay grade to analyze.
🛒 Ecommerce: The public blurb for this one doesn’t state the niche, so nor can I, but I’m very familiar with the product, having purchased and used myself. It’s on Shopify and it’s in French, but has an English subdirectory and toggle option. When you put the product into your cart it recommends other options, but there is upside to improve the funnel (do what I mentioned in this guest post on Shopify back in 2015!). I really like this biz especially at just a 2.7x profit multiple, $3.6M indicative price (Link).
🛒 Ecommerce: This is a custom build manufacturing business, in a niche that isn’t made public again but with very high ticket items. I’d describe it as a combination of ecommerce, lead gen and dropship with very low number of owner hours required. Ranks #2 for a top volume industry keyword, which has a good number of long-tail you could also go after. (Link)
☁️ SaaS: Aussie based sports niche, $5.5M indicative price which is 27x annual profit multiple, which may be due to reinvestment in creating an app which can unlock new revenue streams. The business is doing impressive GMV numbers, has low churn, and potential to scale through paid acquisition (Link)
🧑💻 Service: Mobile app development agency with long term enterprise clients with high LTV, making $133K/m profit, $2.6M asking price (1.6x annual multiple) (Link)
Going forward I will be unlocking all new 6 figure deals on Flippa so we have more deals to feature in this section. AcquiringDigital.com now makes this easy for me as Ross has just launched email alerts - Flippa has this too but for some reason they stopped working for me.
