I was one of the first beta testers of Content at Scale back at the end of 2021 (mentioned in the first edition of my previous Alts Cafe newsletter) when it was initially a service, before the app was live.

The one-click AI-generated content platform officially launched last September, and within 12 months it’s reached an insane $4M ARR, as Justin McGill, the founder just tweeted:

Their V3 is coming soon and I’ve had a sneak peak and mention some forthcoming features to my Insiders (upgrade here), in addition to their new keyword research tool.

To continue to scale their growth, Justin recently acquired the Content Hacker media business by their President Julia McCoy who has become partner in the business and gone all in:

This is impressive, as I’ve known Justin for over a decade now, and tried but failed to get any equity in his business!

But I’m happy to say that I did recently succeed in investing into beehiiv who are at a similar level of ARR:

I’m so bullish on the team and so glad I made the switch from Substack when I did and have gone all in on beehiiv.

DOMAINS

I have been patey.eth on Twitter/now X since I first registered it at the Ethereum Naming Service (ENS) back in May 2021.

However, after buying my BoDoggos NFT (my PFP on X) which is on Solana (view collection on NFT Inspect) I really think it’s a far superior chain for NFTs.

And so I recently bought patey.sol from the Solana Naming Service (feel free to send $SOL tips there!) which I was rocking on X up until this weekend…

Handshake domains, which I first covered on Alts by Flippa back in March 2022 (and then more recently in this newsletter back in March 2023) just launched their decentralized second level domains (dSLDs) over at HNS.ID and I now own patey.hns.

Not only is this now redirecting to my previous ETH address (that patey.eth is pointing to), I can also set a Bitcoin address and DNS to a decentralized website:

Here is my profile page on HNS, and here is the domain within the HNS collection on Opensea, as an NFT on the Optimism ($OP) layer 2 rollup network.

And to send crypto using Metamask, you simply use the hns.id domain, so if you wanted to send me some ETH/OP you’d send to patey.hns.id:

Why is all of this important or better than the alternative web3 domains?

Well no-one can take your Handshake web3 domain away from you, as the actual TLDs are in the Handshake root zone:

I’d not looked at this for six months and the .⌐◨-◨ at #5 was new to me.

It’s the Nouns Naming Service, part of the ‘Nouniverse’ as it puts it, where you can show your love for Nouns by buying your domain name on their .⌐◨-◨ TLD and wearing these ‘noggles’ on your X profile where you are rewarded with $NOGS coin!

If I didn’t have my own lazy/ Handshake TLD I’d be buying one of these!
