TOKENS ON SOLANA

SPL is the token standard for Solana, in the same way as ERC-20 is on the Ethereum network.

Solana developers wanted to add additional functionality to tokens, and so created the Token-2022 Program which the biggest wallet on Solana, Phantom, now supports:

One of these new ‘SuperTokens’ is Bonk Earn ($BERN) which took a snapshot of the (now 400K) holders of the Solana meme coin $BONK which in turn was a free airdrop to the community back at the end of last year.

Holders of $BERN get daily airdrops called reflections, and every transaction burns both $BERN and $BONK:
